1.)Skasummit.com - There's always new ska bands all over and you can get bios on bands and find new ska bnads to listen to and the website is updated often.This website is also connected with lots of other ska websites.

2.)Skasource.com- Is a really good blog that info about new bands and shows and other up and coming event.

3.)Skaspot.com- This site gives good info on new ska bands and you can download songs.

4.)Skaisdead.com- This site is good if you want to see a ska show but you don't
know who or where.

5.)Skatoob.com- This is a site that is similar to youtube.com only it's unknown ska bands to post videos and band bios.

5 WORST SITES! staaaaay away!

1.)MusicBanter.com- No help finding any kind of new music at all

2.)users.could9.net- the website is no longer updated and all the information is outdated

3.)geocities.com- this website is good for learning about the history but other than that you don't learn anything else about what's going on today is ska

4.)punkskamusic.suite101.com- there is no information on this site at all

5.)skatelescope.org- involves little to no information about any bands and no or concert dates.

HEY ALL YOU TRUMPET PLAYERS!!!

Soooooo Suburban Legends are looking for a new trumpet player. And if your any good at trumpet you should totally audition!... all you have to to is practice something on trumpet lol... then you have to find a camera with a good microphone and a clear picture so you look good when you play your trumpet for the band... theeeen you record your video and send it into slneedsnewhorns@gmail.com it would be best if you lived in the O.C area and love to play ska music. They are looking for an introduction for your video. Things like your name, hobbies, if you have any other talents. But, be sure to keep it short and sweet. Be sure to show them your routine exercises and your warm ups on your instrument like scales and such. Then you need to pick a song to play, any song that would best show case your talents, it can be aaaaany song you want. And for your last song play of of their songs any song you like best show them how well you can play by ear. And always remember to practice practice practice!!

Sooo Excited!

OK so you may or may not have heard buuut, Streetlight Manifesto is playing this year at warp tour and this is my favorite band. I'm so excited because I don't have to drive super far to see them. They are playing in Pamona 6/26, San Francisco 6/27, Ventura 6/28, Moutain View 8/20, Sacramento 8/21, San Deigo 8/22, and the last day is in Los Angeles 8/23. Streetlight isn't the only ska band at warp tour theres also Big D & the Kids Table. But, I highly recommend going to Warp Tour this year! Tickets are available now so hurry and get your ticket already!!
